Kirby Reed

Kirby Reed is Founder and Artistic Director of Ascension/The Kirby Reed Project. He is a former member of The Joel Hall Dancers and has been involved in the dance community as a teacher, choreographer, and concert dancer. He appeared in music videos and in concert with L.L. Cool J, Montell Jordan, Kym Symms, and Michael Quatro. He was also a featured dancer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (Dennis Rodman Dancers), on the television series The Untouchables , and in the feature film Hoodlums. Kirby received two Canadian awards for choreography and three consecutive nominations from the Black Theatre Alliance for Best Choreography in Music/Dance Program.
