Joe Tremaine is one of the most influential dance personalities in the country today! An internationally known dance educator and choreographer, Joe has worked as choreographer and dancer on Broadway, in ballet companies, on television, videos, night clubs, movies, industrials and commercials. In April 2001 Joe received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Palm Desert, California "Dance Under the Stars" concert series, and in 1994 he received the Award for Dance Education which is equivalent to the Oscar. Other awards and honors include: "Joe Tremaine Day" in Louisiana; The American Choreographers Award for dance education, Best Instructional Video in the World, Professional Dancers Society Tribute Award, Dancer Educators Award, and the Jazz Dance World Congress Award. Joe served as a preliminary judge for Miss America 1998 and Miss Louisiana 1999. He was national spokesman for National Dance Week in 2000! He has worked with Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate, Oscar winner Helen Hunt, Goldie Hawn, Jamie Lee Curtis, Diana Ross, Jerry Lewis, and Regis Philbin to name a few....
